A Promising Qualifying and Solid First Race
My first race weekend in the KZ2 category marked an important step in my racing career. Moving into a new and more competitive class always brings new challenges, but I adapted quickly and delivered a strong qualifying session, securing 12th place. In the first race, I stayed focused and consistent, successfully holding my position and finishing P12.
Strong Pace and an Unfortunate Setback
The second race started even better. Right after the start, I was able to move up into 9th position, showing strong pace and confidence in the kart. Unfortunately, a technical issue forced me to retire early, resulting in a DNF (Did Not Finish). While it was disappointing, it was out of my control.
Looking Ahead with Confidence
Despite the unfortunate ending, the weekend was a very positive experience overall. The speed was there, the performance was strong, and I learned a lot from my first KZ2 event. This debut has given me even more motivation for the upcoming races, and I am excited to continue growing in this category.
